It covers a broad spectrum of appealing surface coating applications based for example on the transfer of images on coated supports, or on a powder on powder application using suitable technologies. Other technologies may be used only if they have been previously approved by the Qualideco Committee.

The following conditions must be met for a licence to be granted:

1. The applicant must have a laboratory equipped with the minimum apparatus.
2. The company that performs the coating cycle must hold the Qualicoat quality label.
3. The powder(s) used must be Qualicoat approved for Qualideco use.
4. The technology(ies) must be approved by Qualideco
5. An inspection of the in-house control of the applicant must be carried out by a testing body approved by Qualideco.
6. Laboratory tests must be carried out by a Qualideco laboratory on the final product.

The only Qualideco Certificate Holder in Russia is Iplana.
